Chelsey Magness is hard to pin down in a few sentences. Chelsey is one of the few AcroYoga teachers that has received certifications from both AcroYoga groups in North America. She has trained and taught across the US, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. With a background in Ashtanga Vinyasa, traditional Hatha, Dutch Acrobatics, Thai massage, Slacklining, rock-climbing, whitewater guiding and ultra-endurance adventure sport, Chelsey uses her teaching to help her students (and herself!) constantly re-asses what is possible and to radically expand the limits of physical and mental potential.
She's been featured in The New York Times, Womens Adventure Magazine, Wend Magazine, and has been fortunate to teach at such esteemed establishments as Yoga Journal Conferences, Telluride Yoga Festival, Kripalu, and Wanderlust.
Extra tidbit about Chelsey (from Jason!):
In the search for potions of love, happiness, and immortality, there are many ingredients that are difficult to find. Even if one can pinpoint the ingredient, it is almost impossible to successfully distill the essence in a way that is useable.
Most sages do agree however, that Chelsey's laugh is one such ingredient. So far all attempts at bottling it have failed. Until such time, our only option is to stay close to her....

We often say that we LOVE adventure racing because it is the only sport where we use almost all the gear we own in a very short span of time. Mountain bikes, paddling gear, climbing gear, lights, shoes, packs – you name it, and we have probably used it while racing! However, when we have to take all this gear with us to a different country, that “love” of using all of the gear briefly turns ...
J and C Training is Here!
2013-11-19 22:48:34 UTC
It has been a long time coming, and now it is finally here. For a long time we have been asked many questions about numerous topics that we are passionate about, the most common ones being "how do you train for the many things that you do?!", "How do you stay healthy transitioning back and forth between your races, acrobatics and slacklining?", "What do you eat?", " What shoes, shorts, socks do you where during the ...
