    Bio
    Jason Magness is an internationally renowned yogi-adventurer who has practiced various forms of yoga for more than 15 years. Cofounder of YogaSlackers, he is also an AcroYoga teacher, advanced-level Ashtanga practitioner, professional adventure racer, environmentalist, and former physicist. Jason travels the world inspiring others to explore the edge of their human potential and push the limits of who they are as individuals. He has worked as a rocket scientist (seriously), musical theater performer, high school science teacher, and professional swing dancer. He has been featured by Yoga Journal, ESPN, MS-NBC, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Wend Magazine, Rock and Ice, Outside Magazine, and many others.  He is thrilled to know so many inspiring slackers from around the world.  Lucky enough to have studied with yogic masters from around the world (including Sri K Pattabhi Jois, BNS Iyengar, BKS Iyengar, Lisa Schremp, and many other) he also considers the ocean and mountains among his most esteemed teachers.

    We were so grateful and humbled to be welcomed in as friends to this family of rope walkers. For generations the women in the family learn how to rope walk and the boys go to school… Gita made us chai and Dahl and the kids laughed and played with us. An amazing experience!
