Frequently Asked Questions
YogaSlackers co-founder Sam Salwei along with YogaSlackers Teachers Raquel Hernández and Ajlaan Raza Sayani.
The goal of this teacher training program is to master the YogaSlackers’ teaching method, emphasizing safe and thoughtful progressions, a strong focus on fundamentals, clear and concise instructions, and achieving success through well-planned practices and repetitions.
The first week of the training will concentrate on enhancing your personal practice and comprehending the underlying foundational principles. Once you have integrated these foundations, the objective is to learn how to effectively teach them to others. The training aims to create an inquisitive environment that encourages the use of foundational concepts to achieve any goal, from beginner to advanced.
In addition, the program emphasizes cultivating the qualities of safety, approachability, inclusion and compassion in order to create a supportive, welcoming and nurturing learning environment. These qualities are essential for building strong connections with students, inspiring trust, and facilitating their growth and progress on their journey.
We offer limited partial scholarships, generally one for every 10 registered students. Scholarship requests are reviewed after acceptance and are based on need, strength of application, teaching interest, and available funds. The application includes a section for financial assistance.
If you do not yet meet all the prerequisites, we recommend applying for Level 1: Thailand Retreat or the Full Level 1 & Level 2 Program.
Level 1 is designed to help students build the foundations needed for the teacher training pathway, while the full two-week program gives you the most complete preparation and training experience.
Maybe! We have a very limited amount allocated as work trade opportunities. These must happen before the training, not during the training. Send us a message with the skill that you would like to trade in exchange for partial training payment.
If you choose the housing option, you will be staying in a double shared room. All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom, mini-fridge and kettle.
The full registration package includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are served in a Thai vegetarian style and are designed to support a full day of training. If you would like additional food, specialty drinks, or snacks outside the included meals, you can purchase them separately from the resort restaurant or café.
Our teacher trainings are typically capped at 36 students.

Please note: to receive the Early Bird price, your balance must be paid in full by the Early Bird deadline.
You may cancel your reservation and receive a refund according to the following schedule:
